Alpine F1 Team has officially announced that Alexander Dunne has joined its driver academy.
The Irish driver signs ahead of his second campaign in FIA Formula 2 Championship, following an impressive rookie season in 2025 where he secured fifth place overall, claiming two victories, two pole positions, and eight podium finishes.
In 2026, Dunne will continue racing with Rodin Motorsport. Commenting on his move to the Alpine Academy, the 20-year-old expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work closely with the team.
